Annual Membership Meeting and Ice Cream Social
6:00 at the June Lake Community Center. “John Wilt, our August speaker is looking forward to sharing his love of tapestry’s – where the artist weaves many different threads together into a beautiful picture. He see’s our June Lake Horseshoe canyon from many different angles – his geologic father shared with him how this beautiful horseshoe canyon was formed – his own interests include the early animals and native folks that loved this canyon during their lives – finally he is the historian for the East Side Silver Lake Homeowners Association and has created a detailed publication of every cabin’s history. This year is his 84th year sleeping in his family cabin and as a teenager he worked in June Lake during the summer – he has many fun stories to share that enrich our beautiful horseshoe canyon. He looks forward to starting our Horseshoe Canyon tapestry – please come and spend the evening adding new threads to our tapestry.”
Afterward enjoy our free ice cream social and a drawing for a guided fishing trip with Dan on Grant Lake.
